About Me

I am originally from rural Ohio, but have made Chicago my home the last several years. I attended Dominican University and studied Sociology and Political Science. I then received my Masters from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration.

I am a clinician and psychotherapist, but I am first and foremost a social worker. The values of self-determination, social justice, and cultural humility inform and guide my practice. I strive to be accepting and affirming of the racial, gender, disability, and ethnic identities of each of my clients.

I believe in the importance of self-care for myself and my clients. In my free time, I like to go beach combing, take trips to the library, and watch women’s sports.
